Dream World Palace Hotel

The entertainment team were fantastic, with really good and interesting evening shows. The staff were very friendly, though they barely spoke English. Drinks were good too. This compact hotel has a small territory, nice tidy rooms and good food, especially at dinner. There are several pools: one on the ground floor for everyone and a quiet adults-only one on the top level. It’s a great place for families with kids. Highly recommended!

The rooms were really nice, and the cleaning staff did an amazing job keeping them clean. We also liked the pool and drinks, and the food was genuinely good. But the reception experience was awful. The men were so unfriendly, especially the reception manager. When we checked in, we were just handed a key with no information about the restaurants, breakfast times or animation team. We had to figure it all out ourselves. The women were much more helpful, especially the lady with short blonde hair, who was the only one who was decent. Dinner was meant to run until 21:00, but several times they stopped grilling meat around 20:00 even though there was plenty left. Once we arrived at 20:20 and were asked to leave the restaurant at 20:40.

I gave it two stars because the other staff were friendly and the hotel itself wasn’t terrible. There was a good range of multicultural food that tasted okay, a fun waterpark and a clean beach. It’s a bit of a walk to the beach, but there’s a shuttle. The management was disorganized and misleading. The main boss’s son avoided talking to us about a serious issue and pushed other staff to deal with it. They offered one price in the morning, then raised it without explanation when they saw we were visiting from abroad and might have money. The owner and his sons get one star from me for hospitality and management. If you don’t have to deal with management, you should be fine.
