Divan Corlu

The shopping centre nearby made the location handy. Our room was cleaned well, and the products were good quality. The staff were polite and helpful, especially the gentleman who took care of our luggage and helped park the car.

For a stay of a day or two, this hotel is good value. Restaurants and a shopping mall are within walking distance, and the central Corlu location is convenient. The staff were kind and helpful, and the rooms were quiet, clean, and decent. Breakfast had limited choices for my high-fibre, high-protein diet, though it should suit people after fresh bakery. The gym is small and some equipment is a little old. Our air conditioning wasn't working properly. We didn't tell reception, as we hadn't expected the night to be cold, so perhaps they could have found a solution.

The room design was really nice, modern and comfortable, but some details are missing. I had to ask for the room service menu, and the gym was dark when I arrived at the promised 9:00 opening time, so I had to switch on the lights. The steam bath wasn't working. For the sauna, you need to tell them 30 minutes ahead so they can turn it on. The smart TV had a remote with Netflix and Prime buttons, but neither streaming service was available. Why include those specific buttons if you don't have them? The gym had non-ecological glassware, and there were plastic bottles in the rooms, which doesn't feel sustainable. I'd recommend the hotel if you don't expect too much.

The hotel is nice and clean, and the service was great, but I expected more from a 4-star place. I've stayed in many 4-star hotels without these problems. One shower head was clogged, and water escaped past the shower door and pooled around the toilet. The TV didn't work, and the mini fridge was absolutely gross. To me, the place felt more like a 3-star hotel.
