Divan Corlu

The room itself was modern, comfortable, and nicely designed, but a lot of the details felt off. The smart TV had a remote with Netflix and Prime buttons, yet neither streaming service was available. I also had to ask for the room service menu. The steam bath wasn't working, and you need to give them 30 minutes' notice to switch on the sauna. They said the gym would open at 9:00, but it was dark when I got there, so I had to turn the lights on myself. There were plastic bottles in the rooms and non-ecological glasses at the gym, which didn't feel sustainable. Something is wrong with the attention to detail here. I'd recommend it if you don't expect too much.

For a one or two night stay, this hotel is good value. It's in central Corlu, with restaurants and a shopping mall within walking distance, and the staff are helpful and kind. The rooms were quiet, clean, and decent. Breakfast has limited choices if you're after a high-fibre, high-protein diet, though there's plenty to satisfy someone looking for fresh bakery items. The gym is small and some of the equipment is a little old. Our air conditioning wasn't working properly. We didn't mention it to reception, since we hadn't expected the night to get cold, and they might have been able to sort it out.

The breakfast was excellent, and the rooms were convenient. It's a good hotel in Corlu, even with the busy area around it. I'd come back.

The hotel is nice, clean, and the service was great, but the room problems made it feel closer to a 3-star stay than a 4-star one. One shower head was clogged, and water leaked past the shower door and pooled around the toilet. The TV didn't work, and the mini fridge was absolutely gross. I've stayed in a lot of 4-star hotels and haven't run into these issues before. I was excited to try this place, but it didn't live up to my expectations.
