Villa Erkin

We felt at home in the spacious, comfortable rooms, and the villa was exceptionally clean and well looked after. The garden pool was a real highlight, we swam every day, and the fully equipped kitchen covered everything we needed. It’s surrounded by nature but also close to the market. The host was welcoming and quick to answer all our questions. We had a wonderful holiday and would happily rent again. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

The house looks even better than it does in the photos, and it’s easy to imagine wanting to live there. It’s a quiet, beautiful spot near the beach and the city, with a small village store nearby. The owner is always available and ready to help. The new house, pool, private grounds, and parking were just as shown, or better, with gardens all around. There are also several family-run cafes nearby for a traditional Turkish breakfast. A car makes getting around much easier, since walking can be a challenge. But if you just want to enjoy the house, the privacy of the thermal river, and the gardens, you can stay without one. The airport and Dalaman are both a 10-15 minute drive away, and the nearest beach is about 10 minutes away. Sarsala Beach is a little farther along a winding road with stunning views. For what I think is the best beach in Dalaman, and perhaps all of Mugla Province, I’d choose Lakos Beach, reached by a winding dirt road. This was one of my best rental home stays. Everything felt perfect, and I recommend the place. I hope to return!

We made wonderful memories as a family at "Villa Erkin" over the Eid al-Adha holiday. It’s a brand new, spotless building, with a great pool. The location is convenient too: the airport, famous Sarsala Bay, and the city center are all within 5-10 minutes. Our hosts, Derya Hanım and her husband Bayram Bey, looked after everything at every turn. We were almost overwhelmed by how much they did to make our holiday special, and we’re deeply grateful to them both. If you’re planning a trip to this area, I think you can rent Villa Erkin with confidence. I’m sure you’ll feel as pleased as we did afterward.

We picked this stone house for its peaceful feel, and it turned out even prettier than the photos. We stayed for seven days, and it was spotless. Despite the July heat, the house stayed cool, so we only needed the air conditioner once or twice. We’d worried about mosquitoes because of the hot spring right beside the house, but the steady, pleasant breeze meant we had no trouble with them. The hot spring water was such a treat that we barely missed the pool. The bays are easy to get to from here. Thanks to the Karakuş family for such a warm, friendly welcome and generous hospitality. We’re permanent members of Villaerkin now ❤️
