Burcum Apart

Ovabükü has a cool, breezy feel and suits anyone after a quiet, peaceful holiday. The road from Datça is winding and hilly, though. We liked the beach, a five-minute walk away, with sand and pebbles, usually a bit of breeze and small waves. We brought our own straw umbrella and chairs, so we didn't pay the businesses for anything. The garden is lovely, with seating, a hammock, and a barbecue area. Inside, the apartment building, furnishings, and apartment were all clean and new. The TV, fridge, washing machine, and air conditioning were working and new, and we had no Wi-Fi reception trouble. There are mosquito screens on the doors and windows. The apartment works well for a family stay, but I think a dishwasher and a second air conditioner in the living room are needed. The only air conditioner is in the bedroom, and it takes a long time running continuously to help the kitchen and living room. The entrance from the road could also use cobblestones. Ovabükü has just one small market for basic needs, with no large supermarket. For bigger shopping you need to go to Palamutbükü or Datça. At check-in there was no liquid soap or dish sponge, so we had to buy those things ourselves. It'd be helpful to have a 1.5-liter bottle of water in the fridge for new arrivals. Our family usually picks apartment-style stays because we like having the comfort of home in a different resort town. This year we chose Burcum Apart in Datça Ovabükü because we hadn't seen negative reviews.
