Cuhadar Ahsap Evleri

A lovely escape from the city. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast and nearby hiking trails, and the hospitality was warm. The wooden cottages are beautiful, with cozy amenities in serene surroundings. We loved our stay at Çuhadar Ahşap Evleri. Highly recommend!

Palamutbükü’s small town felt very welcoming, and Cuhadar Ahsap Evleri was quiet and relaxing, a little off the beaten track. Our room was very clean and had a great view. Breakfast was amazing. Knidos is an amazing site, so go see it. A lovely stay.

Good atmosphere 👌

The wooden houses are detached and nicely designed, and free parking at the hotel is a plus. The location is good and the concept looks appealing at first, but our stay fell short on cleanliness, the beach setup, and the way the place is managed. The entrance looked neglected and abandoned. Our room wasn’t cleaned satisfactorily: there were used towels in the closet, the sofa smelled bad, and the refrigerator was dirty. We didn’t feel comfortable there. The beach was a serious disappointment. Google Maps photos show a wide area with 3 rows of sunbeds, but in reality they were in a single, very close row, making it cramped and giving a misleading impression. The sea is clean because it’s in Palamutbükü, but it was wavy and quite cold. It could suit people who like swimming, but not those who prefer calm water. The staff’s attitude was generally negative. Beach and restaurant employees seemed unhappy and listless, and I didn’t see anyone smiling at the hotel. The lady managing the hotel smiled when we arrived, but came across as insincere. When we left, she only took the restaurant fee and walked away, without asking whether we were satisfied or saying goodbye. They say verbally and write on the walls that bringing food and drinks is prohibited, which makes the refrigerators in the rooms seem pointless. We found the restaurant prices high. We tried it on the first day and then chose restaurants nearby instead. The local shopkeepers were very friendly and hospitable, which made the negative hotel experience stand out even more.
