Filiz Apart Hotel

We had a wonderful week between the apartment, pool, and beach, and left Filiz Apart happy with our stay. The garden landscaping is beautiful, and Datça’s evening air is lovely. We were on the ground floor and ate dinner on the balcony in the garden. The apartment was spacious and comfortable enough. There was no air conditioning in the bedroom, but evenings cool off, and the window mosquito nets meant we could sleep comfortably with the windows open. The pool was adequate and stayed open until 8 PM. Karaincir Beach is a five-minute walk away. Datça Municipality opened its Karaincir Beach social facilities at the end of July 2025, with affordable food and drinks, seating, and free sunbeds. Other businesses charge a lot. 1500 TL per person for a day, or 6000 TL for a family of four, is an exaggerated beach spend. Private businesses have taken over the nicest beaches around Datça this way. The only municipal facilities are near Karaincir Hospital Beach (Sevgi Yolu) and Datça Taşlık Beach; sadly, the other coves are all in private hands. Thank you, Filiz Apart family.

We’d paid a 5,000 TL deposit for four nights and driven for 10 hours. We’d told Ms. Filiz that personal reasons meant we could stay only two days. She said she’d try to help, but if nobody else booked our place, we’d owe the full four-day fee. We reached the hotel at 1:30 PM. Most hotels check in around 2:00 PM, but they said our room hadn’t been cleaned yet and they’d let us know when it was ready. Guests’ checkout times had been set days in advance, and the room was supposed to be vacated by 2:00 PM at the latest. Still, at 3:25 PM they said it was being cleaned and would take another 15 minutes. Exhausted from the trip, we waited until 3:45 PM. We finally said we’d give up the deposit and leave without staying. Ms. Filiz replied, “You had an excuse to leave anyway, go ahead and leave.” She was rude and unfriendly. If we’d just been making excuses, we wouldn’t have driven 10 hours or sent the deposit. The person on the phone had been very polite and courteous before we arrived, so the attitude and lack of concern for customer satisfaction were a huge disappointment. They couldn’t get the room ready, we couldn’t stay, we lost a whole day waiting, and forfeited the deposit.

We had a very enjoyable five days at Filiz Apart Hotel and would like to return in the coming years. The rooms were tidy and well maintained, and the location was convenient for the beach and nearby markets. We also appreciated the pool access and the helpful information we received when we arrived. The way the guests were treated was excellent. Having stayed in apart hotels in other holiday destinations, this one stands out, and I’d especially recommend it for families wanting a peaceful break.

A quiet, peaceful place where we could properly relax. The green botanical garden was lush, and the hygiene, which matters a lot to me, was taken seriously. The friendly service and care for the guests meant we had everything we needed. We came to Filiz Apart Hotel on July 26th planning to stay three nights, then extended for another three.
