There’s no view, although the center and beach are within walking distance. The rooms and bathroom are so cramped you have to squeeze past one another to get around. The room, kitchen, and bathroom were terribly unclean; only the sheets and towels were clean. The cleaning staff didn’t speak Turkish, so we couldn’t get them to clean the room.

We had a wonderful stay in Datça, and the rooms worked really well for our family. There was a kitchen, a double bed, and two large sofas, with plenty of space for us. Everything was very clean. Since the hotel is right in the town center, we could walk wherever we wanted. A perfect family place in beautiful Datça.

A lovely family-run guesthouse. The welcome was warm, and the advice and help we got were much appreciated. We’ll be coming back every year from now on.

The room had clean, good-quality amenities, but the room cleaning itself wasn’t enough. Cleanliness and hygiene really matter. We arrived tired at night and went straight for a shower, only to find there was no hot water. Reception gave us a few possible explanations: first, they said to let it run because it might take a while, but it never warmed up. Then they said all rooms were occupied and the solar-powered hot water might have run out. I asked whether they had planned for the high usage with something like backup heating. They said they did have backup heating, but a plumber had been working on it that day, which might have caused the problem. Places focused on summer stays may not be ready for a sudden rush of winter guests. Still, when people book days ahead, the hotel should prepare and let them know about any limitations, or make clear that it’s set up for summer stays. Thanks to the hotel for listening. I believe it can become a quality place to stay once these shortcomings are addressed.
