Oliva Casa Apart Hotel

The apartment was great, and the owner and his parents made us feel so welcome. It’s in a wonderful spot in Mesudiye.

It was a comfortable, enjoyable stay in a calm, quiet area. The apartment was impressively clean, and the hosts were friendly and ready to help whenever needed. We’re hoping to come back soon. It seems well suited to families or couples.

Oliva Casa has lovely olive trees all around, plus little family touches like dried fruit on the terrace and flowers. Fatma Hn, Sener Bey and their family are very nice people, and you can feel the family-owned character throughout the place. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and they sprayed all my bags with disinfectant when I arrived because of Covid-19. I also slept well on the thick, new mattress. I spent nearly three weeks here in September 2020, working remotely on weekdays because my company let me choose my location. The internet was fast enough for smooth video calls and VPN access. Each flat has a bedroom and a separate living room/kitchen, which I’d recommend if you plan to work. Staying in the single small room typical of many nearby pensions could have felt depressing. It’s very quiet, with only birds and the occasional rooster outside. Hayitbuku, Kizilbuk and Ovabuku are my favorite places to swim around Datca, and each is a three-minute drive away. Walking there in the heat could be tiring without a car. If you want a quiet, clean place among olive trees with easy access to the coast, I recommend it.

The beach is dirty, and it’s very expensive. There are rude staff working there, and they claimed the beach isn’t free because it belongs to the hotel Olivia Casa. There isn’t much beer variety either. I don’t recommend this place at all.
