We came back for a second stay, and it was just as good as the first. In a quiet part of town, the place has a relaxing feel. It’s a lovely spot to enjoy the calm and beauty of Palamutbükü.

The hostess was so friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. My friend and I spent a few days at this little gem, where the rooms were very comfortable. I’d certainly recommend this stylish, beautiful place to anyone looking for a nice stay.

The morning we left, the Turkish service ladies were so sweet and gave us Gözleme for the trip. The rooms were splendid, and the beds extremely comfortable. The owners have clearly spared no expense: the building and interior are exceptionally well done. My partner is an architect and was positively surprised by the construction and structure, unlike anywhere we’d stayed before. Although the hotel isn’t right by the sea, it’s wonderfully peaceful. In Turkey you rely so much on a car, so we actually enjoyed the short walk to the seafront. We were only there for 24 hours, but had such a lovely time at this very classy establishment. Pelin, the owner, welcomed us personally when we arrived and again at breakfast. You can tell she’s learned proper hospitality, most probably abroad, and understands what matters to international guests. I wish we’d had more time to spend and chat with her. Keep up the great quality. As soon as we can, we’ll return for a few more days.

The only real downside was getting to the sea. It’s about a 20-minute walk, which is tough in 35-degree heat, and driving there is difficult too because there aren’t enough parking spots near the beach. I’d suggest finding an easy way to take guests from the hotel to the beach. There were plenty of good things: new, spacious, very clean rooms, and a small pool that was handy for the kids before and after the beach. Breakfast was very nicely prepared. The staff were kind, polite, and professional, and their hospitality made us feel welcome throughout. It’s not common for a small boutique hotel to bring together so many positives with such good organization. Thanks to everyone for making our stay so enjoyable.

The setting is beautiful, but the hotel was a disappointing experience for us. It takes 10-15 minutes to walk to the sea, or five minutes by car, and finding a parking spot at the beach is really difficult. The room itself was nice and cleaned well, but during our four nights the sheets and towels weren’t changed, and we had hygiene concerns. The rooms are very noisy: the TV in the next room echoed right through ours. We also kept coming back to find the air conditioning off, even though we’d left it running. Breakfast was very poor in our opinion. Eggs came fried, boiled, or as an omelet. A cheese omelet cost extra, and they served only one egg per person, which felt a bit ridiculous. We got a slice of cheese, half a tomato, cold menemen, or a plate with 5-6 potatoes. On top of that, we had to hear staff arguing and swearing during breakfast. The pool also seems to be used by neighborhood children, so there’s a lot of children’s noise during the day. For what we paid, the service was very inadequate.
