Ultava Houses was the highlight of our trip, even after nearly three weeks seeing famous places in Istanbul and along the western coast. We spent six nights there near the end of October 2024, and stayed in two different rooms. Both the rooms and the grounds felt intimate, peaceful, and so welcoming, thanks to all the employees. Güven, the hotel manager, helped us plan the week, from excellent dinner bookings to hikes, secluded coves for swimming, and ancient ruins across the beautiful, less visited Datça Peninsula. He even helped with returning the rental car and its drop-off charges. Breakfast was delicious, made with locally grown ingredients. Eski Datça is just a few minutes' walk away, with charming restaurants, gift shops, markets, and, above all, friendly people.

We spent our days hiking the hills, exploring nearby beaches, and trying local food, with Ultava Houses giving us a peaceful place to come back to each evening. The property feels like a quiet oasis, with green gardens, charming stone houses, and beautiful views of the landscape. Each morning brought a delicious breakfast with fresh local ingredients and homemade treats. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm and welcoming, made us feel like family, and went out of their way to make the stay great. We can't wait to return. We'd highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for an authentic, memorable stay on the Turkish coast.

We needed somewhere peaceful, and Ultava in Eski Datça was just right. It's so quiet, and the old town, with its cute shops and restaurants, is only a one-minute walk away. Our spacious, modern room was comfortable and full of light. The house also had a large private terrace with a jacuzzi, surrounded by a magnificent garden. Breakfast was great, and the service was impeccable. Güven, the manager, helped with everything and arranged an amazing boat trip along Datça’s coast. Thanks for such a lovely stay, Güven. See you again soon!

Güven, the manager, is so nice and courteous, always helpful, speaks excellent English, and is a great cook. Ultava is a beautiful, tasteful, relaxed spot on Turkey's southwest coast. Datça itself is ideal for unwinding and going to the sea. A lovely setting and exquisite food make it a place for a truly relaxing break. We'll be back.

We were in awe of Ultava Houses. The staff were really helpful and came up with a solution straight away when we had a personal problem. There's also an overload of cats :) Breakfast is very good, and you can have it brought to your “own” house to enjoy on your private terrace. We chilled in the jacuzzi every day. The place stands out from the other hotels. They clearly understand good, eco-friendly design: every corner is tastefully decorated, with light, airy colors and natural materials. Treat yourself and book a stay.
