The top-floor room was really spacious, quiet, and comfortable, and it felt new and very clean. The owner made me feel welcome, and the staff were always ready to help. I felt right at home and would happily recommend this hotel.

The location is the main thing going for this hotel. Our first-floor room was okay, though it didn't look like the photos online, and we could hear loud music from the bar downstairs until late. I think the place has a lot of potential, but it seems too focused on the bar.

I especially enjoyed the loft-style bar, with its muted colors, great electronic music, and a very good alcohol selection. The staff were young, friendly guys, and the owner personally suggested places to visit over the next few days. He even marked a starting point and a good exchange office around the corner on a paper map. This is the first place in Karakoy where I felt safe, compared with the other Istanbul hotels I've stayed in. Galata Tower, the same legendary tower from the Magnificent Century movie, is just a 3-minute walk away and has a beautiful view around the corner. The port is an 8-minute walk away, with fish restaurants and fish denner kebab. I left with nothing but positive feelings. I'll definitely come back and recommend it.

The location in Old Town made sightseeing easy, with the major historical sites all within walking distance. On this return stay, I was glad to find the rooms had recently been renovated and now feel fresh and modern. The bar area stood out too, with a great atmosphere and cocktails that were nice to relax with after exploring. Comfortable, stylish, and very convenient for getting around. I'd recommend it.
