Andriake Beach Club Hotel

The surroundings were peaceful and the views were picturesque, but the room we were first given left us with a bad impression. We had come to Andriake Beach Club Hotel for a week and didn't mind the three-hour airport transfer because we wanted somewhere quiet and secluded. After arriving and checking in, though, we found a very small room at the end of a narrow corridor several metres long. It had two small windows facing the hotel parking lot, and a double bed made from two different single beds, plus an extra bed. The bathroom was tiny, with visible mold and a strong chemical smell, probably from disinfectant balls poured into the sink. For health reasons we couldn't stay there. I'm attaching photos to show the conditions. The pictures don't show the so-called terrace, just two chairs and a table in front of the door facing the hotel's inner courtyard. We were moved to another room only after the travel agency representative intervened. The issue was eventually sorted out, but it affected our stay and left us with an unpleasant impression.

The welcome and staff have been quite good during our three days here, and the swimming pool is excellent. But we're staying for two weeks, and the food already feels repetitive, with the same dishes each time and no seafood, for example. They don't even have hot milk. The minibar in our room still doesn't work, despite me bringing it up several times. I was told that not all the minibars are cold, which is no solution and feels unprofessional for a hotel that's meant to be five stars. The channel selection also needs variety, perhaps with some French-language options, since it's currently only Turkish or Russian. If you're looking for quality, don't come.

The beach was the best part of our trip: clean, quiet, with clear water and very soft sand, so you don't need sea shoes. The shallow entry into the sea was perfect for the kids. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, and for the price it was great value. I enjoyed the stay, though I'd rate it as a four-star resort rather than five. The food and drinks could improve, and there were a few small things, like having to ask for towels one day. Still, it was very good overall, and we'll be back next year.

It's a beautiful spot, with nature around the beach, even though it's far from both airports. But the hotel doesn't come close to five stars, maybe three, so set your expectations accordingly. The food was just okay, with no plant based milk or allergen labels. Bar alcohol tasted cheap, as if watered down. The bathroom design is odd, the lights are complicated, and the air conditioning barely works. There was only one throw on the bed, so you have to call for extra blankets, which is strange when two people are staying. No iron in the room, and they didn't bring one when asked. If you need clothes ironed, you're stuck paying for the expensive laundry service. There are almost no toiletries, so bring your own.
