The room service was excellent, and the resort itself, including its facilities, atmosphere and accommodation, met my expectations. What made things difficult was communicating with staff. Many guests are Romanian, British or other international visitors who use English as a second language, so I was surprised that staff spoke so little of it. Even simple orders were hard to place, and at meals waiters often misunderstood my drink requests and brought the wrong thing. I’d been here in 2019, when the staff’s English seemed much better, so the change was disappointing.

The sunsets were stunning, and there was always something tasty to eat, with a huge range of food available throughout the day. We stayed from May 23rd to June 1st in room 3144, and everything went well from start to finish. I only wish we’d had more time. Our daughter had her birthday during the trip. The pavilion waiter was kind and professional, and went out of his way to bring her cake at exactly the right moment. We were also given champagne, which made it extra special. Housekeeping decorated the bed beautifully for her birthday, a lovely surprise that really touched us. The bar staff were great too, especially at the pool bar. After just two days, they knew my husband and his usual drink, which made us feel welcome. The animation team kept up their energy and smiles from morning until midnight. We joined darts, pool games and water fitness every day, and the kids especially loved the evening shows. A wonderful stay, and next time we’ll come for longer! 😊

We’re five days into our stay and still finding new parts of the hotel. There’s so much to see. The staff have been helpful and attentive, especially with our younger boys, and the bar team are always happy to help. The entertainment has been great too. There are lots of pools and things for the kids to do, including soft play, a park and fun slides. Our room is spacious and very clean. We’re having a great holiday so far!

The staff have been kind and welcoming, and our room was cleaned properly every day. Those were the bright spots in a stay at the Aqua Resort that didn’t live up to what we expected. The internet was a real hassle. For the first two days there was none in our Lake House, and afterwards we still couldn’t rely on it during the day or evening. We could only get online in the lobby. Food was another letdown. The choices felt limited and almost the same every day, so I wouldn’t suggest this resort to anyone who cares about having varied food.
