We went last year with our three children, and it was a hotel we ended up choosing because we couldn't find anywhere else. We didn't pay a small amount as a family, but the place was really falling apart. There was no mini fridge in the rooms, so if you got thirsty at night, you'd have to drink boiled water. It was a tiring holiday with kids. It's a family-run place, and the daughters were very attentive. But the other staff, if that's what you call them, mostly looked miserable. I asked for a tea, and a woman turned around and said I had ordered a large cup for money.

I liked the modest, changing breakfast by the pool, with a normal selection that didn't feel wasteful, and the home-style dinners. It was a small family-run business. Our room felt old-fashioned, mostly wood, but had air conditioning and a comfortable bed. The bathroom had a toilet, sink, and open shower. It could be better, but it was manageable. Thanks to the owner and manager …… hanım and her mother for their friendly conversations.

The air conditioner wasn't clean, so we couldn't sleep with it running at night, though the room was adequate for sleeping. The shower head in our room was broken.
