The sea is beautiful, though a little rocky, and staying in a caravan is enjoyable at this time of year. Summer gets very crowded. We’ve been coming to this place for years, but it has been made much smaller. Last year the wooded, slightly forested area farther along was closed off. The gendarmerie used to leave us alone there, though fire risk was a concern. Now the area has been privatized, so we’ll see what kind of business opens there. Even the sea air isn’t free for locals.

There aren’t many facilities yet, but I think that helps preserve the natural feel of the place. The sandy beach is quiet and good for relaxing, and the sea is shallow and calm, especially nice for families with children. I’d recommend it for a peaceful day away from the crowds.

We camped here with our caravan in winter, and it was quiet and peaceful. I can’t say what it’s like in summer, but the gendarmerie told us we could stay and there would be no problem. It’s a comfortable, peaceful spot.

It’s a small beach, with patches of rocky seabed and seaweed. The sunbeds and umbrellas probably belong to the resorts.
