Being so close to the beach was a plus, but the stay itself left me wondering about all those five-star ratings. At check-in, the woman at the desk seemed unsure and I had to repeat my booking details. Our room had no blinds, and the balcony door curtain was in a heap on the bed. With another balcony about five metres away, people could look straight in, so we hung the curtain over the door. The sheets were badly stained and dirty. There was also constant banging in the hollow, hospital-like hallway. We learned it was other guests' doors echoing through the building. Door handles would help.
