We spent five weeks there and ended up feeling like part of the family. The staff were great and a lot of fun, and our room was fantastic, clean, and homely. Can’t wait to go back next year.

Right on the beach, with a thoughtful, unusual and delicious breakfast, this was a lovely place to spend the last week of September. Şenol Bey was incredibly hospitable, and making guests comfortable clearly matters to him. The staff were careful about cleanliness and welcoming during the pandemic, which helped make our holiday wonderful. Thanks to Mehmet Bey and everyone for being so attentive. The peace and quiet was my favorite part. This hotel in Akbük faces the sea, with a lovely coastal road nearby. You can swim just across the road, or walk 500 meters to Akbük Beach. There are plenty of other places to swim too, including Haydar Bay and Aquarium Bay, plus many more bays I can’t list. If you want a quiet, out-of-the-way spot to enjoy the sea and sip tea while looking out at night, definitely stop by.

We’ve been holidaying in this area for years, and this is one of the loveliest hotels around. We’ve stayed at Ocean Suites Hotel twice since it opened this summer, and the second visit was even better than the first. They remembered us, which was nice, and the friendly, accommodating staff made us feel comfortable again. The hotel has a modern design, and our room was spotless with a sea view. The water is only a few meters away, and they take hygiene seriously, as we’d noticed on our previous stay too. Breakfast was a varied, tasty buffet in the garden, beside an ancient Roman church and olive trees. We didn’t need to eat elsewhere. It certainly won’t be our last visit.
