Temple Miletos Spa Hotel

We had a great stay at Temple Hotel and loved our time in the city of Altinkum. The cost for the stay felt very fair for the time we had, and everything matched what the hotel said it offered. It's well located, and the team knows how to welcome tourists from other countries. We felt looked after and would highly recommend it.

The air conditioner was a problem in the heat, which was around 45° outside. It mostly made noise, didn't cool the room properly, and water came out of holes in its tubes, spraying on us while we slept. I noticed people in many rooms had their doors and windows open. The pillows were another issue, very firm and uncomfortable, like trying to sleep on ping-pong balls. Our neighbour smoked in the toilet even though smoking in rooms is forbidden in Turkey, and the smoke came into our room too. The curtains weren't even ironed. It made me wonder how little the management and staff care about the place.

We'd booked three rooms, but only one was ready when we arrived, and it was extremely dirty. The pillows were yellow, the mirror was filthy, and there were brown marks on the walls. There were also several very dirty mattresses in the corridor. The AC was broken, the windows didn't work, and the TV remote was nearly destroyed. The curtains hadn't been ironed either. The lobby was extremely hot.

There was no parking lot, and the people preparing breakfast weren't following hygiene rules. Our room was cheap, but in poor shape and not clean: hair on the beds, a tiny dirty bathroom, and used towels left in the closet when we checked in.
