The White Swan Suites Beyoglu

I spent seven days in Istanbul, and the hotel gave me a peaceful stay with quality that exceeded what I expected. It’s well placed for transport while still feeling calm, away from the city’s stress. Ms. Sultan was elegant, attentive and professional. My room was nicely decorated and spotless, and the bed was especially comfortable. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, safety and good service. I’ll definitely choose it again on my next Istanbul visit.

The personal care here made a big impression, especially Mrs. Sultana. She’s warm, kind, always smiling and clearly cares about guests’ comfort. When I noticed a small curtain problem in the first room, they upgraded me right away without making it a hassle. They handled it smoothly and thoughtfully. I liked the cleanliness too. I travel often, and everything felt fresh and well maintained, with a warm, home-like feel. The rooms were comfortable and the value for money was excellent. It’s also only a short walk to İstiklal Avenue and Taksim Square. I enjoyed my stay so much that I extended it by three more days. I’ll absolutely come back on my next trip to Istanbul.

After checking out and posting a review on Booking.com, I received threatening and blackmail messages from the hotel management through WhatsApp. They used offensive language, made false accusations and threatened to share “video recordings” unless I removed my review. That behavior is unprofessional and unacceptable for a hotel. I strongly advise people to avoid this place for their own safety and peace of mind. I’ve submitted all the evidence and screenshots to Booking.com for an official investigation.

The area is handy for sightseeing on foot and for nightlife around Istiklal street. The nearby streets aren’t especially clean, though, and after midnight they don’t feel very welcoming. There isn’t much choice for breakfast nearby, probably just Istiklal or Taksim, but both are only a few minutes’ walk away. My wife and I found the place cozy and very nice, close to ideal for a couple of backpackers like us. The owner and administrator was eager to help. Our room was clean and comfortable, and both the bathroom and air conditioner worked properly. It’s a decent hotel overall and a great one for its segment.
