Yelken Beach Otel

Parking causes regular arguments here. The hotel has no designated on-site spaces, so event guests often use the lot mainly meant for residents of the historic apartments behind it. Some park without consideration, block residents in, and could obstruct emergency access to nearby homes or the hotel. Guests also seem reluctant to park farther away. The other major problem is the music from both this hotel and the neighboring one. It can go on into the early hours, especially Wednesdays, Fridays, and weekends, and we hear it clearly even with our double glazing shut. Anyone attending celebrations or staying here would need hearing protection, or very poor hearing, in my view. The hotel has reduced our open view of the bay and foreshore, but the beach area, improved with the neighboring hotel, is small and well maintained, with beach service and sunbeds and umbrellas for hire. My grandchildren enjoy the clean, mostly unpolluted sea. The food is basic and a bit overpriced.
