Gulkent Pansiyon Hostel

The guesthouse sits just 1-2 minutes from the sea, with open space in front and a fence around the quiet, spacious grounds. The beach is huge, so finding a spot shouldn't be hard, though an umbrella spot may be another matter. Our rooms had proper-sized balconies, big enough for 8-10 people to sit together, and the rooms themselves were large. It's family-friendly, but bring your own things for home use. We first stayed for one night in 2021 as two couples and liked it so much that we returned as a family in 2022. Friends came later too. Any issues or shortcomings get dealt with right away, and there's nothing negative I can say about the place. We've booked again for 2023 and will be there July 17th.

The peaceful setting and easy access to the nearby tourist attractions made our holiday enjoyable. We were at Gülkent Pension for 10 days during and after Eid al-Adha with my brother and the children, staying in a duplex. The sea is very clean and about 6-10 minutes away. The rooms were comfortable, and both the internet and air conditioning worked great. Many thanks to Gülkent Pension for being so attentive.

Everyone gets their own balcony, which was a really nice touch. The guesthouse was clean and very close to the sea, and there was a small fridge in the room. The air conditioning worked, and the blankets and pillows were very clean. Hot water does run out after a while and needs time to heat back up, though two people can take quick showers one after the other.

We had a quiet, peaceful sea-view room and were pleased with our stay. The hotel is very close to the sea, and parking wasn't a problem. Reception can be hard to find someone at, but when they're there, they're very helpful. I took off points because the balcony doors had issues and there were no towels or similar items. There wasn't a hairdryer in the room either, but they brought one when we asked.
