Tiny Garden Dikili

We had serious hygiene problems. Either the people calling it “spotlessly clean” have a different idea of clean, or we were just unlucky. The bedroom was especially mediocre: the bed had white stains, hair, and what I can only call unspeakable things. It was DISGUSTING. We walked into the house barefoot and the bottoms of our feet turned completely black. Everything seemed fine until bedtime. We had lit the barbecue, and the Egyptian employee was very kind and helped us get it going. My wife and I enjoyed dinner. I brought plates, cutlery, and everything else from home, so I can’t really judge the kitchen’s cleanliness. But when we went to bed, we found that awful mess. Since it was the middle of the night, we had to make do. I covered the bed with whatever blanket I could find, then put my own sheets and pillowcases on top. Even so, it made me feel sick, and we slept badly. After we checked out, I told the owner, Mr. Murat, what had happened. He offered a discounted stay in a stone house to make up for the lack of cleanliness. I’d never stay in such an unhygienic place again, and I left my own sheets there because I couldn’t bring them back into my house. I asked for a partial refund, but was told they don’t have that policy. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend this place. For that price, there are much nicer tiny houses by the sea that are in pristine condition. The one good thing is that it’s quiet and close to the center.

We stayed at Taş Ev for 7 nights and 8 days as a family, and I’d recommend it for the price. It’s a peaceful spot surrounded by nature, with a lovely location. Our rooms were clean and had everything we needed, and families with children can feel safe here. The owners were cheerful, friendly, and attentive. We especially want to thank the staff member who was so careful and meticulous. It worked well as a base to relax and explore the region, and we’d consider coming back.

The misleading distance information was disappointing. The listing said 800 meters from the sea, and we specifically checked, but it turned out to be 2 kilometers away and impossible to reach on foot. Be sure to know that before you go. Aside from that, we had no serious problems: it was clean and comfortable, the rooms were well kept, and the atmosphere was peaceful. We never met the owner, though, and one employee handled everything.

With our family of four, it felt like being at home while on holiday 🤗 We had a comfortable, clean, quiet, and peaceful stay. Everything we needed was provided, and Roda, our assistant, did her best to help us. Thank you so much! The location was a real plus, close to bays, beaches, and places to visit like Ayvalık, Cunda Island, and Bademli Küçükköy. When we checked out, I saw how clean the place was and felt glad we’d chosen it. If they keep that same care up for guests during their stays, there’s nothing to worry about. Thanks to Mr. Murat and the Tiny Garden Dikili family for making our trip so enjoyable and happy.
