Dies Hotel

The location is good, just outside the city walls and about 15 minutes from the castle. Breakfast was excellent, one of the best we had on the trip. They also let me check in at 6am without charging extra, which was kind of them. We did have a water outage for a few hours, but I can forgive that. I recommend the hotel.

We spent two nights here at the end of September. It’s just outside the Sur, quiet, and close enough to walk to all the attractions. The hotel is clean and well maintained, with comfortable, well-equipped rooms and friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was amazing, with dozens of kinds of cheese, olives, salads, and plenty more.

The rooms are still nice, and the location is great, about a 10-minute walk from the Sur. It used to be a nicer hotel, though. It feels a bit dusty now, and the beds could be better.

The location is very good, and the kitchen staff were very good too. The rest of the stay was rough. On a hot day, the lobby AC was off, and our first room hadn’t been cleaned, with paper under the bed and AC that didn’t work properly. Management moved us to another room. The hallway motion-sensor lights worked poorly, leaving the corridors dark at night, and the emergency stairs were blocked by cases, water, and cleaning supplies. I found management incompetent and lazy.
