A nice hotel in a great spot.
We stayed for a night as a family because we couldn’t find anywhere else. The location is great, but I can’t say anything else good about it: the rooms are truly unfit to live in, and the breakfast was unbearable. I loved the people of Diyarbakır. If the owners read this, I apologize, and hope they invest in the interior so the hotel becomes a place worth staying in.
You can park without much trouble, and the hotel sits in a busy central spot, right in the heart of Diyarbakır. The Grand Mosque, fish and cheese markets, live music venues, shopping arcades, and nighttime street food stalls for liver, kebabs, and lahmacun are all close by. It’s good value for money, with clean bed linens and pillowcases, hot water, air conditioning, and satellite TV. Minor issues aside, it’s a success.
The staff were friendly and helpful, but the rooms were terrible and lacked everything you might need. Parking was a major problem, with nowhere to leave the car.
