The location made it easy to explore Diyarbakir's old town on foot, and we left the car parked for our stay after visiting the old stone bridge on the way in. Hevsel Gardens and the bridge are the exceptions to the nearby sights. We spent two nights here. The hotel sits on a very busy road with lots of traffic, which is why I give it four stars. Inside, the lobby was calm and welcoming, and the staff were attentive and friendly. Our room matched the booking photos. Breakfast was a good-quality Turkish buffet with hot and cold options, bread, fruit and cheese, though anyone wanting more international flavors may find it limited. A good base for a city visit.
