Ararat Hotel

The common area was cozy and quiet, with free tea and coffee whenever we wanted. Wifi worked well in the lobby, though not as well in our room. Breakfast had lots of savory options and was tasty, but not many sweet things. There’s no parking, although finding a street spot nearby wasn’t hard. Our room was clean and nice, with an amazing view of Mount Ararat. The staff spoke good English and were extremely kind and helpful. The person who checked us in let us choose our room.

I planned on staying three nights, but ended up spending seven at this spacious, comfortable hotel. It’s downtown Dogubayazit, and some rooms, including mine, have a priceless view of Mount Ararat. More than anything, the staff were kind and lovely. I enjoyed chatting with them in the common areas, and they all made me feel at home.

The lobby was spacious and a nice place to relax, and our room had a view of Ararat! The owner and staff were so friendly and helped us a lot with figuring out how to get around the city. Breakfast had plenty of good options.

We had a very peaceful, pleasant night here. The breakfast was generous and delicious, and the hotel is only about ten minutes from the bus terminal. The receptionist was polite and helpful: when we asked to see a room before booking, he agreed right away. The next morning the staff were busy, but still made sure to call a taxi for us. Great hotel with kind, respectful staff. I definitely recommend it if you’re staying in the area.
