I’m glad I chose this hotel for one night before continuing my road trip. The view was amazing, the location very strategic, and there’s free parking behind the hotel. Breakfast had plenty of options, and for the price the hotel felt trustworthy and offered good service.

The receptionist was friendly, but everything else in the room was bad during my one-night stay. The room and bathroom smelled of cigarettes. The floor was sticky, the bathroom was dirty and old, and the toilet bowl was worn and scarred. The pillows and blanket smelled, and the sheets didn’t look fresh. The AC wouldn’t turn on, so we had to open the windows, even though the curtains were dusty. I couldn’t sleep all night and felt itchy from the condition of the bed.

I’ve been staying at Hotel Duzce since 2017. The people are nice, and I love my stay here. Good service, good food, and good hospitality.

For the price, I’d rate it 5/5, but overall it’s more like 3/5.
