Etruscan Butik Hotel

My wife and I stayed for two days, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout. The hotel has what you’d expect from a boutique place. Do try the Etruscan wines, especially Matu and Xhai, which we particularly enjoyed. Thanks for everything.

We left with our wines and very happy memories. My wife and I visited the ETRUSCAN Hotel on Thursday, September 26, 2024, to see the place and taste the wines. Selen greeted us warmly, then gave us an engaging introduction to the hotel and its concept, inspired by the ancient civilizations of these lands. When we asked about the wines, she led us through the garden’s wishing well gate to the tasting area. Her colleague who usually handles that section was unwell, so Selen took over and let us try each wine. They were all delicious, and she told us the story behind each one in such a lively way. She said many people had contributed to what we were seeing, with the owner, our wine expert, at the forefront. We’re grateful to our teacher for bringing such a valuable place to Eceabat and our country, and for working to revive the grape and wine culture that began here. Selen also spoke fondly of Elif and Serap and described their hard work. Meeting Mr. Çağrı at reception was a pleasure, too. We spent two nights here and were very pleased. It’s set up more as a culture and wellness hotel than a standard classic hotel, so it suits you if you want to relax, exercise, and enjoy fine wines. The breakfasts were delicious, and the staff were friendly and attentive.

If you’re interested in history or wine, the Etruscan Wine Hotel is a fascinating place. It draws on the ancient Etruscan civilization and offers a chance to learn about wine making and taste authentic Etruscan wines. The architecture and genuine little details add to the sense of history. I also enjoyed the tasting and training sessions, which taught me more about wine culture. The comfortable stay, good service, and wine collection made the experience feel flawless. I’d highly recommend it.
