Fantastic!

A pleasant place with lovely people.

We picked this place for a weekend night because we needed to be in the city center, but we left disappointed. The room didn't look like the picture at all. It had a very small double bed, a wardrobe, and something barely useful as a bedside table, placed across from the bed. There was a strong bleach smell when we walked in, though the room still wasn't clean. I'd rate hygiene 3 out of 5. There was only half a roll of toilet paper, nowhere to put it, and no extra. Everything felt old and neglected, including the rusty shower head and faucet. We were only there to sleep, so we put up with that. We came back exhausted at night and couldn't get even an hour of sleep. The bed was so uncomfortable I sat upright all night. I'm 8 months pregnant, sleepy, and going crazy with the springs digging into me. There was just one uncomfortable pillow. Under the double duvet cover was a single duvet, so we were cold, and no spare blanket. The air conditioner made too much noise and light. The linens weren't smelly, but they were unironed and carelessly made; the towels were old and thin like children's towels. In the morning the room filled with a strong cigarette smell, and we couldn't work out where it came from. It's also very noisy, you can hear everything said next door. 33 Euros a night isn't cheap for just a bed with no breakfast or anything. They should at least provide the basics. I'm sorry, but I won't stay here again or recommend it. We're on a long road trip now with no sleep.

I stayed here on May 19th and found it really nice. Having a parking lot is a big plus in a place like Edirne, and you can easily get to the bazaar and sightseeing areas on foot. It was spotless, breakfast was adequate, and the price was very good. It definitely felt as comfortable as a 5-star hotel.
