Uygun Otel

🚬 I stayed at this small hotel for more than a month during summer. It's quite busy, with guests coming and going every day. Coming from the main street from the center, the entrance is on the side street to your left, just after the corner. There's a furniture shop underneath. I was given a second-floor room with air conditioning, two beds, a TV, a cabinet, and a bedside table. The toilet shower had several problems, including broken glass and knobs. Some rooms don't have air conditioning, which would make a room under the roof impossible to stay in during summer. The usual price was 160 lira a night, but I got a discount because I was staying several days to begin with. The large number of overnight guests keeps staff busy cleaning rooms all day, so the place is clean, though it doesn't feel tidy. The cleaning staff seem overworked and miss details. Several times I had to get up in the middle of the night to ask people to stop talking between rooms in the corridor. Reception could perhaps do more to tell late arrivals that other guests are sleeping. The staff were pleasant overall, but only a few spoke English. I didn't ask for frequent linen or towel changes, but they changed them when asked. Almost every time, though, some parts of the cleaning were still left undone. Breakfast is the usual Turkish spread: olives, cheese, tomatoes and cucumbers, honey and butter, tea or coffee, bread, and usually an egg. But the breakfast area is right by a dusty road, and guests are allowed to smoke. As someone who hates smoking, I found it uncomfortable, if not impossible, to enjoy breakfast. I usually came at the very end of breakfast time to avoid it, but then the place was rather dirty. I agree with other reviewers that the breakfast area needs better order and cleanliness. The hotel isn't wheelchair accessible and is best suited to short stays.

Not bad, but there's no room service unless you ask again and again. Breakfast was bad, and there was no fridge in my room. I asked for one and they brought it over from another room. The shower leaked water outside the toilet. They also seem to have one way of interfering with people from other countries and another way of speaking to and interfering with Bulgarian people. It felt like racism to me, though it's still the best for 300 Lr per day for each person.

Amazing hotel, with good prices and super friendly staff. They even helped me make a cardboard sign for my hitchhiking trip.

The location is good and the price is cheap. Breakfast is nice, and there's always a parking spot. It's a decent hotel, though it isn't especially clean.
