The rooms were clean and nice, but putting one duvet on a double bed was awful. At reception they told us breakfast was buffet style, yet there was no buffet. The website said it was included, then we were charged 250 TL each for just two or three items. I was embarrassed in front of my guests. It was a complete mess, and being new isn't an excuse. The receptionist was left to handle everything and couldn't keep up. The owner should put some money into hiring someone capable of taking care of the other work. As they say, only God gives without expecting anything back.

We only stayed because it was the middle of the night and we had nowhere else to go. The room and bathroom were filthy, especially the toilet and shower, which hadn't been cleaned for our arrival. It was so bad I can't even get into the details. We also discovered we'd been charged twice the price for internet access. People in this country don't deserve treatment like this. Such a shame.

We went to Edirne as four people on the first weekend of January and booked two rooms after seeing this place rated “perfect!” in the apps. The bathroom was tiny, and the rooms were heated by air conditioning. It was noisy, and when you first came in the room stayed cold for a while. One room hadn't been checked before we got it, there was someone's coffee left on the table, at least a week old. Getting help was frustrating too. You had to call a staff member on their mobile for anything, and how they responded seemed to depend on whether they were the owner or an employee. We asked about breakfast in the morning and the staff member, who was the owner, said they'd come make it. They showed up at 10:00 AM, and we had to stand there watching while it was prepared. The dining room was freezing. The hotel is being renovated, which probably explains many of the problems, but the lack of attention was obvious as well. I don't understand how these apps decide to give it such high ratings.

The location is excellent and the service was really good. It's built with quality materials, and everything was clean.
