Well Edirne

We could get around everywhere without a car because the hotel is so well located. The rooms were clean and nice, the hosts were incredibly welcoming, and the food was really tasty. If we return to Edirne, we'd definitely stay here again.

Our room opened onto a quiet inner courtyard, and the owners and staff were wonderfully kind. Breakfast was generous, and the hotel was great value. It's a cosy, comfortable family-run place on a quiet street in the historic part of Edirne, just minutes from the mosques, synagogue, river, market, and lots of good restaurants. Totally recommend it.

The apartment was spacious and comfortable for at least four people, with two rooms and a living room. Its furnishings were quite basic, though. A hanger, some chairs, and something on the walls would help. In winter, central heating was a real plus, even with below-freezing nights. There was air conditioning too, but we didn't need its heating setting. Smokers may appreciate the balcony with a table and two chairs. We had no parking trouble: we let them know beforehand, and a spot was arranged in front of the hotel or on a side street. The family running the hotel was very kind and worked hard to make guests comfortable. Breakfast was included, with a fairly fixed, modest selection: an egg, cheese, mozzarella, olives, and tea or coffee. We felt at home and will definitely return. We visit Edirne several times a year for small food and clothing purchases, especially the Friday Ulus Pazar. This time my wife wanted somewhere near both Ulus Pazar and Saraclar pedestrian street, and we found the Well Hotel, within walking distance of both.

Clean and warm, with very good service and a traditional breakfast.
