The grounds are beautiful, surrounded by trees and green wherever you look. We had a relaxing time outside the room, the pool was good, and breakfast was very tasty with plenty to choose from. They added new dishes the following days. The room situation was a real letdown. We booked through the website and called to confirm we’d have a garden view, but at arrival the receptionist said we’d booked an “economy” room. It was worn out, down in the basement, with a tiny window, no view and awful air. I can’t understand offering that kind of room at that price. We changed rooms and paid for an upgrade; it had some garden view and better air, but I still wouldn’t call it a hotel. It felt overpriced, with everything very basic and old. No Wi-Fi in the room, no bed sheets to cover up with, and no coffee, tea or even bottled water. We’d expected a tidy little boutique hotel and were disappointed. I can’t recommend it.
