The staff made us feel welcome, and I really appreciated how friendly and helpful they were, especially since I used to work in tourism. We stayed briefly on September 15, 2025, near the end of the season, with half board. The meals and cleanliness were fine for me, and the price was quite reasonable. The hotel is very close to the beach, which is a big plus. I think its location deserves to be considered as part of the overall picture. If I visit Kızkalesi again, I’d stay here. Thanks to the staff, manager, and everyone in charge for their warmth and attention. Hope to see you again.

We stayed in one of the six rooms, and other guests sharing it had the same complaints we did. I was only describing my own experience, and the fact that 150 people didn’t leave a review doesn’t mean they were happy. We asked to move because of the drain smell, but three rooms had the same problem. Hot water was also an issue when everyone came back from the sea at lunchtime and in the evening. When we reported it, we were told to keep checking and that they would adjust the heater. We said staff should be keeping an eye on it themselves. We come on the same holiday each year with the same number of people, but this was our first time at your hotel. We had no connection to the owners or operators outside our stay, and no reason to attack the hotel. This was criticism intended to help improve the service and inform future guests, not defamation. We also had to wait three days for tea to be available during the day outside breakfast, and we asked for it to be brewed. We could have posted negative reviews from 20 or more accounts, since we occupied six rooms, if that had been our intention. Keep up the good work.

I’m giving this five stars so people will notice the review. We had a nightmare three-night stay. The price was about the same as nearby hotels, and the food selection at breakfast and dinner seemed better than theirs, but cleanliness was still a problem. The room had such a strong drain smell that we couldn’t stand being in it. They washed the toilet again with bleach and put in a bamboo-stick air freshener. At dinner, I found lentil residue on the spoons and asked for them to be washed again. The woman at reception who came out of the kitchen answered sharply that they couldn’t be dirty because lentil soup had been served. At breakfast, the tomatoes had run out. I asked for some, and a kitchen worker brought them wrapped in his suit and put them on the chopping board. The dining area is partly enclosed and has no air conditioning. I’ve stayed at nearby hotels and compared them. I’m just sharing what happened, but I won’t come back.

The evening outdoor seating area was dark and full of trash, and the meal crowds were awful. Over my four days there, I couldn’t get a hot shower, the rooms smelled terrible, and the staff were indifferent and didn’t try to solve problems. The rooms were filthy, the bathrooms unusable, and the sheets and towels felt completely unhygienic. There was no real cleanliness at all. It felt like throwing money away, and the photos don’t show what it’s actually like. Staying there was torture. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, and “never again” barely covers it.
