The receptionist was so rude. We came from Saudi Arabia for a week’s vacation, but the long-haired guy working there said we couldn’t see the room until we paid the full amount. You only see this in Turkey. Then he told us to leave if we didn’t accept it, and said they didn’t want us there either. I’d advise Muslim or Arab visitors not to come to this hotel because they don’t like us 😕

Loved my stay at the Korykos Hotel. The atmosphere was great, the food was great, and the staff were great too. The sea is within walking distance. You can also see tourist and historical places while you’re staying there. Highly recommended for Mersin, Turkey.

Dinner was the highlight, with a great main course and tasty appetizers. Breakfast was adequate for me, and half-board seems like very good value for the price. The owner and staff were friendly, and they generally seem to cater to families. The place is a bit old, including the rooms, bathrooms, and lobby, but our room was clean and we had no hygiene problems. The location is excellent, just 50 meters from the Maiden's Castle, and parking wasn’t a problem.

Breakfast was the same food reheated and served over several days. The rooms were dirty and the service was terrible. A low price doesn’t make that acceptable. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
