Rain Hotel

Rain Garden is a real treat, with fresh, delicious food. The baba ghanoush and chicken salad are worth trying, both a 10 out of 10. It may be the best restaurant in Kızkalesi. The Rain Hotel itself is small and pleasant, with clean, modern rooms and really good soundproofing. The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful.

It felt like home, and I'd happily stay at Rain Hotel again if I'm passing through. I'm an American traveling alone without a car, in Room #102. My room was comfortable and extremely clean, with a big bed, good WiFi, hot water and strong shower pressure, air conditioning, a safe, and a mini-fridge. I slept like a baby. The staff were always pleasant and accommodating. The owner/manager is easy to approach, knows the area, speaks great English, and can help arrange transport to nearby sites. Breakfast was a generous, healthy buffet. The Mediterranean is barely a two-minute walk away, and the bus stop on D-400 Highway is a few minutes on foot. Rain also has a restaurant by the beach, set in a lovely garden with sea views and a view of the “floating castle”; the menu has plenty to eat and drink. I recommend the hotel without hesitation.

Rain Garden is easy to recommend for lunch, dinner, or a cocktail. The breakfast was amazing, with lots of fresh, tasty choices. Staff were super nice, and both the rooms and showers were clean and pleasant. The location is almost right on the beach. Five stars from me, I loved my stay and had such a great time. We only stayed one night as a family, but had a lovely time. The staff were attentive, and many thanks to Ms. Dilek. Our room was clean and well kept, and breakfast was nice. The sea is just a few minutes away on foot. In the evening we enjoyed good music at Rain Garden. Thanks for everything!
