Fika City & Spa Otel

I’m staying here again from now on. The restaurant staff looked after me well, and the food and service were both 10 out of 10. Thanks to them, and to hotel manager Mr. Ibrahim for encouraging me to stay in instead of heading out. It was a really enjoyable evening at Fika City. I’d first checked the restaurant menu through the barcode in my room and thought the prices were quite exorbitant. When I mentioned that to reception, they told me hotel guests get special rates, so I decided to eat there after all.

The gym was a big reason we chose this hotel, but it turned out to be just one treadmill beside the pool, and it wasn’t working. There was no air conditioning, either, and the pool’s heat and humidity made exercise impossible. I spent about a month here last summer for work. It was the worst of dozens of hotels I’ve stayed in. Hygiene was a serious problem: I found small bags with still-wet blood under the bathroom towels. That could spread disease, and the hotel fell below even basic standards. I don’t see how that incident can be made right. In response to the hotel’s review: I don’t need your permission to post my experience. I wrote what happened and am not responsible for what other people have said. On arrival, the gym had only that one treadmill, the AC wasn’t working, and the heat and humidity from the pool made working out impossible. The hotel felt unhygienic and far from professional. If my comments about the dirt have upset you, I hope you’ll fix the problem. You can remove your hotel from Google if you dislike reviews, but guests are free to describe the very dirty conditions they encountered. Instead of denying a customer’s account, I suggest reconsidering your standards for cleanliness and cleaning the hotel yourself. This was unacceptable and cannot be compensated for. Have a successful day.

I’m writing this from the hotel now, and as someone who travels often, I can say the quality and service at this price are rare. Every detail in the room has been thought through, and it’s so clean I hardly need to mention it. The sauna and hamam are included, too. After a tiring journey, this was just what I needed. Gözde hanım in the spa, İbrahim bey at reception, and the restaurant team were all attentive and good at their jobs. Thank you to all of them. I don’t think people leaving negative reviews about a place like this have good intentions. If you think I’m exaggerating, come and see the difference for yourself. Take care, with love...

The meals and breakfast were wonderful, and the staff were friendly with excellent service. It’s a good-quality hotel in the city center, easy to reach, and feels safe to stay in. I’d happily recommend it to everyone.
