Butik Rafo Otel

At the end of June 2025, I stayed one night here. I’d been traveling for several days, staying at different hotels from Istanbul to Ağrı, and this was easily the best experience of the trip. For the value, it was the best I came across, and I’d highly recommend it if you’re in Erzurum. Contact the hotel directly and your stay can be confirmed without a problem.

The room felt modern and had what I needed, including water, and the Wi-Fi worked great. I was surprised by how much there was at breakfast for such a small hotel, it was easily the highlight. Everything else was nice too, apart from someone else’s hair on the bathroom floor. The fire alarm went off twice during the night, apparently because someone decided to smoke.

I spent two winter days here. It’s a nice, clean place, and the rooms have good equipment. The ski resort is not far, about a 15-minute taxi ride. Heating was uneven: the upper floors were hot while the lower ones were chilly, and my room was a bit cold, though manageable. The bathrooms could use some renovation. Still, it was a pleasant stay.

The hotel is beautiful, and the breakfast menu is great. Most of all, the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and they were friendly and accommodating. They got everything right. On numara!!
