Ay Apart

At 2 a.m., a man and woman arrived in the next room, laughing and shouting so loudly that I don't think they even shut the door. Luckily, they left after half an hour or maybe an hour. That was the end of a terrible night. My friends and I came to Eskişehir for one night because this place was near the city center. We paid half the price and booked a month ahead, but the woman in charge said the place might be too full and we might not get a room. The room they finally gave us was nothing like the photos they had sent when we paid the deposit. We couldn't even tell where we were staying, and our room number was either 301 or 303. The rooms were triangular, and the large room's PVC window had been nailed shut, so it wouldn't open. The sheets and pillows hadn't been changed, and we had to insist before they replaced them. There was dust everywhere, and the furniture was a mismatched jumble of different pink and purple children's bedroom sets. The beds were so old that their metal parts dug into me. I couldn't sleep with the cigarette smell in the curtains, so I had to open the window. The next day, we stayed at the teachers' guesthouse. I think the good reviews are written by people connected to the place. I absolutely don't recommend it. It's terrible.

There was almost no sound insulation, so noise from the rooms above and next door made it impossible to rest. The hot water was also a serious problem, and when we raised it, we got no clear solution or attention. The place fell well short of what we expected for hygiene, comfort, and communication. From the start, cleanliness seemed like a major issue: the surfaces hadn't been cleaned, there was a heavy unpleasant smell, and the beds were unclean and uncomfortable. The bathroom and toilet also clearly hadn't been cleaned properly. When we told the owner about the problems, the replies were indifferent and unhelpful, which made the experience even worse. I wouldn't choose this place again.

Ay Apart was spacious, warm, and clean, with spotless linens that smelled lovely. I needed somewhere for one night on a business trip, and the woman in charge was kind and friendly the whole time. We were very happy with the central location, and it was excellent value for money. Before booking Ay Apart, we contacted lots of places, but many apartments and hotels that looked great online turned out to be very small. If I come to Eskişehir again, I'll definitely stay at Ay Apart.

We were left stranded after arriving at the apartment. We waited outside for half an hour, and even though we'd paid in advance, they said no room had been reserved for us and everything was full. The rooms were uninhabitable. It isn't worth the money, and I would never recommend it.
