The noise from other rooms kept me awake all night, and there were no signs asking people to keep it down. The beds felt like they were all springs, and the toilet was completely dirty. The hotel looked old and neglected inside, and there was very little of what you'd expect: shampoo came from an unmarked dispenser, and they didn't provide even a drop of water. We paid 1900 TL for one night without breakfast. I was glad we left after that night; I couldn't have put up with another hour. Being treated like a fool as a customer made me sad and angry. A waste of money.

After I posted this, the hotel manager called me himself and apologized politely. He said the conflicting prices and poor communication came from a new staff member on the night shift, not from the hotel's usual policy. They offered to compensate me, but I declined since I'd already booked somewhere else. The first experience was stressful, but I appreciate that management acknowledged the mistake, tried to put it right, and treated me courteously. I wanted to add this update for the sake of being fair. My stay was meant to be February 13-15. Jolly Tur, Tatilbudur, and the hotel's own site all showed 4,200 TL for two nights. I called directly because I thought avoiding commission might help the local business and perhaps get us a better price. The representative first quoted 5,000 TL per night. When I mentioned the online 4,200 TL total, they agreed to honor it, saying the listing hadn't been updated but they'd help us out. Five to ten minutes later, after I checked with a friend and called back to book, they said it was a mistake and quoted 7,600 TL for two nights, then offered 7,000 TL as a supposed favor. I ended the call and checked online again, where another platform was showing 5,600 TL. So that same day I saw 4,200 TL online for two nights, 5,000 TL per night on my first call, then 7,600 TL on the next call, supposedly reduced to 7,000 TL, and 5,600 TL online at that point. Prices don't even swing that sharply in the stock market in a day. Giving such inconsistent quotes based on the situation made the hotel's pricing seem opaque and like they were trying to charge whatever they could get away with. I wanted to share this so other travelers wouldn't get caught out. In Eskişehir there are businesses that keep their word and don't change prices depending on the person, so don't let this stress you out. If you do book here, I'd avoid calling to ask the price and reserve online when you find a good rate, since it could be doubled over the phone and called a mistake.

The staff were really friendly, and breakfast was quite generous and satisfying. They also brought us slippers when we asked, even though the room didn't come with them. But the beds were in awful shape, with practically a gap down the middle, and there was no sound insulation, so everyone could hear everyone else's voices. I'm not sure I'd stay again.
