Vendome Hotel

A terrible, terrible experience. The room was dirty, with intimate hair all over the bathroom, and odd white marks on the bedsheets that looked like they’d been left by previous guests and not cleaned. Worse, a bag disappeared from our room. I’ve since seen other reviews mentioning the same thing. The hotel didn’t help look for it or check the cameras. They said we must have lost it before arriving. Liars. Don’t stay here, it felt like a complete scam.

A few weeks ago I spent two nights at Vendome Hotel. The room was clean and fairly spacious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I did notice smoke drifting in from other rooms, but it wasn’t enough to put me off. I’d stay here again. Monk Coffee and Books is across the street and has great food and coffee.

The room temperature was comfortable, the rooms were nice, and the bathroom floor was heated. There’s also a wonderful bar downstairs. Staff were very nice, and the location is close to all the important attractions. Free parking is a real advantage in that area. On the downside, the old refrigerators couldn’t cool anything, and breakfast could be better. We still really enjoyed our stay, and I hope to come back.

The location is fabulous, and the cleanliness was very good. The manager was very nice, and the Turkish lady was kind too. My non-smoking room had a great big window for fresh air. Breakfast was very good as well. I was there for two business days and plan to return later in February. The only issue was a neighbor across from us who was very noisy during the daytime.
