Nautical Hotel Adults Only

Our honeymoon was meant to end with one night at The Nautical Hotel, but we liked it so much that we cancelled our next reservation in Istanbul and stayed another night. Rain and clouds had made us reluctant to leave, and although our first room wasn’t available for the extra night, the team upgraded us to a better one for the same price. We’d found the hotel on Instagram while planning our two-week trip across Türkiye, and it became a perfect final stop. The setting was peaceful and romantic, with beautiful design, excellent food, and a team that made us feel genuinely cared for. Communication was warm and clear from check-in through check-out. We had an early departure around 6:15 A.M., and the staff prepared sandwiches and bottled water for the journey without being asked. We were half asleep after a late night and forgot them in the refrigerator, but the thoughtfulness meant a lot. The photos and videos we took here will be among our favorites from the trip. It felt personal and professional at once. We can truly recommend The Nautical Hotel for a memorable stay, and maybe we’ll come back ourselves. 🌊✨

A boat picked us up right from the property’s shoreline, which was such a cool part of the stay. We also booked one of the multi-floor rooms with a private pool, and that was a real highlight. The two air-conditioning units worked very well, and when the toilet was acting up, staff came to fix it quickly. The ocean views are incredible, and the property is beautifully designed down to the sea. Breakfast was generous and satisfying, and the food was very good. There’s also a mini mart and a nice restaurant up the hill near the parking area if you want a change. Parking is off-site, with a shuttle running up and down the hill. Once you know what to expect, it’s quick and even a little fun. Everyone worked hard to make the stay pleasant. My one small complaint was the living-room lighting in our unit. It was the darkest hotel room I’ve stayed in, and even one more ceiling light would help a lot. Still, the service and views made for a wonderful stay.

I celebrated my birthday here and couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful place 🥰 The surroundings, the lovely details everywhere, and the kind, professional team made the stay feel cozy and welcoming, almost like home. Room 6 was an embarrassment. The floor was uneven enough to feel unsafe, the drains were blocked, the door wouldn’t close, the toilet mechanism didn’t work, and the roof was falling apart. It was the smallest room of our month-long trip around Turkey, at three times the price of other places. I’d avoid rooms 1 through 6. It seems to me that only guests in the upmarket rooms leave good reviews. The resort looked neglected, with gardens overgrown or dead and flower pots full of weeds. Even the reception sofas were dusty throughout our stay. Reviews had raised some of these problems a year earlier, but nothing seemed to have been fixed. Staff sat around chatting, sometimes arguing in front of us, and often on their phones instead of serving guests. It felt very unprofessional. My wife’s brand-new swimsuit was ruined by blue material flaking off the infinity pool lining. The marks wouldn’t come off, so she had to throw the swimsuit away. We showed proof, but the resort took no responsibility. They take payment upfront, then reject claims with a standard apology for the inconvenience. After we raised the matter with the company’s General Manager, Mr Hakki Germiyanoglu, he ignored our correspondence. They also seem to respond only to positive reviews. We’d travelled around Turkey for a month, and our stay at Nautical Hotel was meant to be the highlight. It cost more than any other accommodation on the trip and was by far the worst experience of our holiday. We’ve visited over 50 countries, and this was the worst experience we’ve had.
