Fethiye Guesthouse

This is a modest hostel or B&B near the marina and shopping area, and not too far from Dalaman airport. It’s a cheap place to spend the night if you’re going on a cruise or day boat trip. The area has surprisingly good nightlife and a range of fashion shops, but not many decent food shops. Rooms are simple and a little noisy. Breakfast is great, probably better than what local restaurants offer, though the hostel atmosphere won’t suit everyone.

I don’t understand the other reviews. I found this hostel through Google and chose it, but it has no stars, so I don’t know why Google shows four stars. My family and I stayed only 8h, and the place didn’t match what the Google reviews suggested. Another fake-review hostel. The room was extremely hot, over 40, and the air conditioning didn’t work. I can overlook the road noise, but be careful if you have kids. Don’t rely on just one source for reviews, check others too. My mistake.

The shower pressure was a little weak, but that was my only gripe. I really liked the room for what it cost, the breakfast was a highlight, and the employees were so nice. I’d happily stay here again.

We booked because of the Google rating and regretted it. The photos show a pool, but there isn’t one, and the dorm room wasn’t comfortable. The beds were very old, rusty, and had uncomfortable old mattresses. There was no outside window, and the bathroom had a slight moldy smell. We won’t be back and can’t recommend it.
