Hillside Beach Club

We’ve visited Hillside Beach Club many times, with family, both in the off-season and at peak summer. The private bay is spectacular, with beautiful beaches and clear turquoise water. There’s plenty to do throughout the day for all ages, plus a fantastic range of water sports with modern boats and equipment. For quieter time, there are private adults-only areas. The dining is excellent too, with a choice of restaurants, an impressive buffet and à la carte options. A truly exceptional resort for both relaxing and active holidays.

Hillside Beach Club is one of the highlights of Milford-on-Sea. The coastal views are lovely, and the calm atmosphere makes it easy to feel like you're on holiday. It's a great place to unwind over food or a drink, or just enjoy being by the sea. The setting is stylish but welcoming, laid-back yet well presented, and everything feels well maintained and thoughtfully arranged. Service is friendly and attentive, and we found the whole experience pleasant and effortless. It's easy to stay longer than you planned, soaking up the views and peaceful surroundings. A fantastic addition to Milford, and somewhere I'd happily return to and recommend to locals and visitors.

The night show was way better than I expected, and there were plenty of activities if you wanted to join in. We had a comfortable room, great service from the staff, and seriously good food at the buffet, which I thought was the best in Turkey. The resort sits in a beautiful oasis setting with a social beach club feel. We met lots of people who come back every year for their holidays. Thanks for taking such good care of us, Leyla! 🙏♥️

There are genuinely lovely things about this hotel, but the way we were treated after everything went wrong was awful. We were left at the airport for 13 hours, with no offer to return to the hotel, even though they knew we'd missed our flight because of events connected to our stay. Our seven-year-old was seriously ill with food poisoning after a hotel meal, and my parents, who were travelling with us, are both over 70. That morning, we took our daughter to a doctor, so we missed our flight. Checkout then dragged on because the bill was wrong twice, and our luggage had been left in the room. The transfer van's engine failed on the way to the airport, so we had to change vehicles. We arrived five minutes after check-in had closed. The only flights we could rearrange were for 3:30am. It was 3pm, and we had a sick child and elderly grandparents with us. I called the hotel expecting an apology, a car, and somewhere to spend the evening while we waited. It took several attempts to get through. Then a Guest Relations manager called D**** told us the hotel considered it our fault and was full. When my husband said this was the worst customer service I had ever experienced, she hung up. After we got back to England, we sent the test results showing what was wrong with our youngest. The hotel just maintained that it couldn't have been caused by them. The hotel has some genuinely lovely features, but ask yourself whether you want to stay somewhere that won't take responsibility for its failures and leaves guests, including a sick child and elderly travellers, to fend for themselves.
