Ideal Pansiyon

The best part was the simple Turkish breakfast that came with the deal, but nobody was around to make it on the second morning. When we did see the staff, they were very nice, though that wasn't often. The owner spoke reasonable English, but we didn’t see him again after the first night. Upstairs, the common area had nice views, but it was cold while we were there, and heavy rain made the whole place feel damp. There are lots of outdoor areas for good weather, which we missed out on. The place was rough, dirty, partly under renovation and smelled strongly of stale cigarettes. At first I thought some reviews were harsh, but now I agree with them. Mostly bad points.

The owner was cheerful, kind and incredibly nice, and the room was clean and smelled fresh. The view was gorgeous, and breakfast was both healthy and delicious. Even after checkout, he offered us a shower room with a towel, soap and shampoo. He also suggested an excursion, which worked out perfectly. The place is so lovely, highly recommended.

Stay away from this “hotel” if you want to stay alive. The electrical fixtures are broken, and the homemade bidet could act like an electric chair. The mouldy bathroom feels like a minor detail beside that.

The rooms were disgusting, with smoke smell and dust everywhere. The bathrooms weren't good, and there was no hot water. Stay away.
