Kilim Apart Hotel

The apartments are a good size, and you get two large pools and breakfast for a budget-friendly price. Breakfast isn’t cooked, but it’s fresh and tasty, with the usual Turkish items: bread, cheese, jams, cut vegetables and fruit, olives, plus cereal, limonata, tea and coffee. The buildings are older in places and the grounds are modest, which helps explain why it costs less than other hotels. Our rooms and linen were clean, and the AC and showers worked well. A local dolmus is right outside and costs 30 TRY. We’ll be back.

It’s a good hotel for families, with a nice pool and friendly staff. The pool seemed to have a lot of chemicals in it, though. Breakfast is traditional Turkish fare, with tea, bread, vegetables and sweets. The location wasn’t great for us, but the city centre is only about a five-minute drive away. Still a good hotel.

I felt unwelcome because the staff weren’t very friendly. Breakfast was disappointing too, with little nutritional variety. It should be adjusted for the different nationalities who visit Fethiye.

The staff were kind and flexible: they served breakfast an hour and a half early when we had to catch a bus, and returned our money after we accidentally booked twice on booking. The location was quiet and pleasant, with a bus stop nearby, pools and sunbeds for relaxing in the evening. We stayed five days and got a larger room for the same reasonable price. It had a nice view, and the garden cats were a fun extra. Breakfast was okay, though some hot food would have been nice. There wasn’t much space for our things. We only had a desk and a wardrobe with two hangers and no shelves. The hairdryer didn’t work, and there was just one socket by the bed.
