Nevada Hotel Spa

The pool itself was clean, but it sometimes got crowded with children and people from outside the property coming in. Our stay started badly: the first room had burn marks, mould, and dirt everywhere, so we had to move. The replacement wasn’t any better, and we started looking for somewhere else to stay. Staff were rude. Also, if you don’t keep the bar staff entertained, watch out for a surprise bill at the end :)

It was a quiet spot, about a 10-minute walk from the beach. The rooms were very nice, and the breakfast was simple but tasty. The wellness facilities were wonderful. We’re definitely coming back next year!

We spent seven nights here in September. The hotel was clean, the pool area beautiful, and the staff welcoming and very friendly. The beach, with plenty of restaurants and shops, is an easy 10-minute walk away. The Wi-Fi was so poor that advertising it feels misleading. Breakfast was disappointing too, especially the lack of drinks such as juice. Dinner was a real rip-off: there was no price displayed or mentioned when we served ourselves, and nobody kept track of how many dinners we’d had. Drinks weren’t included, either, unless we bought them at the bar. Dinner cost 300 L, though I later read it was 150 PP, so I was overcharged. That price was far too high for the quality and choice, especially with better, cheaper food available nearby. I also ordered a Nescafé for 40 L and was given the same cheap coffee they serve free at breakfast. The room was decent, but cleaning was hit or miss, sometimes fresh and clean, other days barely touched. The TV worked, but the safe didn’t. There was a chair awkwardly placed in the bathroom walkway, and I broke two toes on it. My room was above the breakfast hall and beside the cleaner’s room. Given the general age of the guests, I wondered if they put me there because I’m young and less likely to complain about noise from 6:45 am. I’d stay again if I had to, but I wouldn’t recommend it. There are better hotels nearby for the same price, closer to the beach and shops.

I knew the hotel and its location already, but hadn’t stayed there before. I booked four nights after arranging an apartment nearby, since I wanted to extend my holiday. It turned out to be lovely. Bulent, the manager, was very helpful, and all the staff gave great service. The pool bar was great too, with tasty lunchtime snacks at good prices. I’d happily stay again and recommend it.
