Oykun Hotel

The hotel is well placed, with five cash points nearby, a supermarket across the road, and lots of other shops for clothes, souvenirs, and pretty much anything else. There are bars, restaurants, and food shops all around, plus more bars, clubs, and restaurants a short walk away by the beach. You can get inexpensive homemade food nearby. Tours for snorkeling, safari, and boat trips can be booked at the many agency desks by the beach, for around £35 per adult. The beach was clean, the sea was warm, and a full day on a beach sunbed and lounger cost 500 Liras. At Oykun hotel, sunbeds are free. I came on a holiday package with easyJet and booked private hire from the Airport, expecting an ordinary ride. Instead, Lion's VIP transfer picked me up in a Limo from Dalaman Airport. The rooms were super clean, with daily cleaning and fresh bedding. The bathroom was spacious and nice, and even though I was on my own, I had a double bed and plenty of room for my clothes. The air-conditioning worked, and there was a TV with interesting programmes, some in Turkish with English subtitles. I watched a few interesting American movies. You have to pay to use the kettle and fridge in the room because it’s a B&B. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and considerate. The canteen serves buffet breakfast from 8am, and you can order lunch to your room from 10am to 5pm. The food was delicious and came quickly. You can eat by the pool. There’s a lot of greenery and flowers in the garden, with purple, red, and pink petals everywhere. The loungers are new, and the canteen has an old Western style. Oykun Hotel/ Villa looked very clean and nice. At night it was quiet, security checks were carried out regularly around the garden and pool, and there were police patrols. The Wi-Fi was weak in the room, but excellent around the pools. It was 32c every day. I loved seeing all the cats wandering around. Everyone in Turkey seems to love cats. My package included seven days at Oykun hotel, and I felt respected and very happy. I’d recommend it to anyone and will definitely book this hotel again. My ride back to the Airport was in a Limousine too. I felt so good and privileged. Warmly recommend Oykun Hotel.
