Limon Otel

The room was basic, but clean, and the breakfast was generous and amazing. Limon Otel is just steps from the sea, making it easy to walk everywhere in Eski Foça. The staff were so kind and helpful, with a personal touch to their hospitality that you don’t always find. A great choice if you want to be near everything and feel at home.

We quickly found another place just down the street, and it was wonderful. We hadn’t asked for a refund, since booking Limon Otel Foça was my mistake. I’d encourage people to seriously consider other options in the area. My wife and I had booked a standard double room for four nights through booking.com. We messaged the hotel to say we’d arrive a day late, and they confirmed that was okay. When we got there, the gentleman manager(?) seemed upset that we were a day late. Maybe there was a language barrier, but the first interaction felt tense. The room matched the booking.com photos, but we were disappointed to find things looked damaged or like they were crumbling. There was a strong smell of cigarettes and mold, and a large patch of black mold on the bathroom ceiling. The manager(?) messaged that we had to return the key if we weren’t staying. I returned it within the hour and took a video of the room.

We were in the four-person room, and it was roomy and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. The rooms were clean, and the shore is just one street away. I’d visit again, 10/10.

The service was the best, and the view was beautiful. To me, it’s the most beautiful boutique hotel in İzmir region of turkey.
